Liz & Jerritt

Liz and Jerritt are such an adorable couple - look how cute their pictures are:)
I really enjoyed helping them decorate their wedding!

Liz and I have very similar style - so it was easy to collaborate on our vision for her wedding.  We decided monochromatic bouquets would be perfect to add a pop of color for the bridesmaids but keep hers very simple and elegant.
Her bouquet featured a large brooch and bow - I love it!  The small violet bouquet was for the flower girl.
Here is a picture of the bridesmaid bouquets, all different shades of green to add a pop of color against the bridesmaids eggplant purple dresses.

We added a small vintage brooch to the corsages!

We decided on eggplant and green centerpieces accented with brown twigs.

The variety of green roses we used in the centerpieces have a hint of purple on the tips - they almost look like ruffles!

A little bling for the cake !

We used large ornate frames for the place cards!

Thanks Liz and Jerritt!

It's been busy around the shop...

Weddings, markets and we've been getting in tons of new product around the shop!
Here's a look at what I've been up to lately...

Kane County Flea Market - Mark and I had an awesome show!
The weather was amazing!!

I didn't have time to take pictures, but here is a really pretty picture of one of the arrangement we did for a bridal shower - roses, peonies, snap dragons and more!

I just helped Ashley with her super adorable vintage inspired wedding!
Ashley was one of the easiest brides I've worked with - patient, relaxed and absolutely nothing bothered her:)  I had so much fun working with her and her family!
She's holding a bouquet we made from all paper!
Isn't she so cute!?!

Unity candle

This suitcase held vintage hankies and a sign that said, "for your tears of joy."

Pictures of the bride and groom were placed at the entrance.

For the cards, we decorated a vintage suitcase with vintage lace, brooches and paper!

Family pictures and vintage items were placed at the entrance.

Ashley's aunt helped decorate the cake - it was sooo beautiful!
This was made with paper flowers, feathers, and brooches.

All of the centerpieces were made with paper flowers and containers wrapped in vintage materials!

I made each of the bridesmaids bouquets a little different - I thought they turned out really sweet!

Most of my shoppers know my dad - he's always helping me around the shop and with markets.  I truly couldn't run my business without his help and really wanted to show my appreciation for him.  He turned 60 this past weekend and we wanted to surprise him with a birthday party!
He was VERY surprised!!!

My dad LOVES candy so we made sure we had all of his favorites!

He was absolutely shocked - he did tell me he's going to get me back:)

During my speech I gave him a present I know he'll use - paint and a paint brush!
We have an ongoing joke - he calls me his boss because I'm always having him paint, fix and get stuff ready for the shop. haha!
Of course he loved his gift:)

Happy Birthday dad!!

Randy & Elizabeth

Randy and Elizabeth asked me to help with their Nebraska barn wedding!  Their barn venue was located in a very secluded area that had such incredible views.  The barn did need some help (well maybe a lot) but it turned out to be amazing and soooo charming!!  Two employees and I drove a 16 foot moving truck FILLED with all sorts of fun items to decorate the barn - take a look!!!

We brought this mantel, mirror and chandelier which made the perfect backdrop for the head table.

Each guest table hosted various vintage bottles and silver pieces.
We used a variety of white and blush colored flowers.

I made the table numbers from vintage pictures.

Elizabeth was so fun - I LOVE her cowboy boots!

She wanted her mother's hankie to be included in her bouquet - it was so precious!

We brought this beautiful hutch and table to host the sweets, candy and of course cake.   I absolutely loved how simple their cake was with the single fresh peony.

Look closely at their server and fork set!

We made these escort cards with a variety of vintage and handmade pieces!

A family tree featuring pictures of their family and the bride & groom.

They had a wish tree for guests to leave them messages.

Yep, we hauled all of this there!

Elizabeth made these cute books for the kids!

More flowers...

Such a beautiful view!

A couple cute details...
The bride made these cute signs for the buffet and these Cd favors!

Thanks for taking a look!
